Bocas del Toro is a vibrant archipelago located in northwestern Panama near Costa Rica. It is known for its stunning Caribbean coast, diverse wildlife, and rich cultural history. It is only a one hour flight from Panama City.
We decided to make this vacation an active one so we rented a quad to get around the island. We also signed up for the bioluminescence tour, 3 island snorkeling, dolphin, sloth viewing and hiking tour. We did a lot of walking while there and had some great Caribbean influenced food. The people there are very friendly and welcoming. Bocas will see us again in the not too distant future!
